Koh Chang by air
Koh Chang is served by Trat Airport, owned and operated by Bangkok Airways. This airport caters to domestic flights only so you will need to change over at Bangkok's new Suvarnabhumi airport from your international flight into Thailand. There are plans to introduce a Trat - Koh Samui service in the next twelve months. We will announce details as they become available.
The airport is located on the mainland near to Laem Ngop. At the moment flights operate to and from Bangkok taking about 40 minutes. Bangkok Airways offer a minibus shuttle to your hotel on the island which can be booked on arrival at the airport, so there are no worries about transport on your arrival.
Until March 12th there will three flights a day between Bangkok and Trat departing at 8.00, 14.40 and 17.00. Return flights leave at 9.30, 16.10 and 18.30.
From March 12th there will two daily flights to Trat from Bangkok leaving at 08.30 and 17.00. Flights back to Bangkok from Trat leave at 10.00 and 18.30.
