Elephant Treks
The word ‘Chang’ means elephant in Thai. So what could be more appropriate than going elephant trekking on elephant island.
Baan Kwan Chang offer elephant treks that take place in a peaceful and unspoilt inland valley to the North of the island. To get there turn inland at Klong Son and proceed for about 3km. They are members of the Asian Elephant Foundation, a charity concerned with the welfare of Asian elephants
Chang Chutiman operate popular elephant trekking to the interior of the island from Klong Prao village. The treks are a good opportunity to sample some of the beautiful scenery of inland Koh Chang.
