Koh Chang has one of the widest variety of Hotel Accommodation options in Thailand with Rooms ranging from 25,000 baht to 250 baht. If you look very hard you can even find rooms as low as 150 baht.
Whether to book with us
We don't aim to offer you bookings at every one of the many hotels and resorts on Koh Chang, if you need that then try one of the many sites that specialise in hotel room bookings only.
Instead we book for a few guesthouses and resorts that we think offer good value for money.
Between late November through to May, advance booking is advisable unless you want to end up in a frenzied search or having to return to the mainland. At other times of year it is up to you, you can book for convenience but you will probably find vacancies if you come to the island without a reservation.

It is hard to forget that Koh Chang started life as a holiday destination about 16 years ago after being "discovered" by adventurous backpackers. Today the island offers many budget places to stay from as low as 150 baht per night, although that price is getting harder to find. It is hard to imagine the island without its backpackers and they are warmly welcomed along with all our visitors. As is typical with this type of accommodation you can rarely book in advance. Just pack your rucksack, read through our guide, pick a destination and have a look around.
